Sketchbook research

I carried on researching fairground rides that were popular to the public. I then started to research different artists who have either drawn or painted scenes of circuses or fairgrounds in their art work. I looked at artists such as Picasso, Lucy Collins and Richard Ray to give me inspiration in my own work. To further my research I started to look at different fashion designers who incorporate fairgrounds and circuses in their clothing collection. Among the designers I looked at was Elsa Schiaparelli because her fashion was beautifully designed with vibrant colour and personality shining through each piece she designed.
