Sketchbook Research...

Further development and artist research...

I started to look at different patterns and images, I took inspiration from flowers and animal prints. I then started to draw from nature and made my own patterns. I then researched various artists and designers to inspire me. As part of this project i'm going to be making weaving samples as part of my man made Vs natural research, this will include loom weave, peg loom weave, knitting, felting and needle felting. I also looked and lino print. For all these different weaving techniques I researched different artists for each technique in my sketchbook.
